Christmas, origin of the word:

The word for Christmas in late Old English is Cristes Maesse, the Mass of Christ, first found in 1038, and Cristes-messe, in 1131. (Source:  Catholic Encyclopedia)

The Mass:

1 Tiimothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

The Roman Catholic Mass is a doctrine of devils.
