Alpha, Omega, The Ancient of Days,
In Spirit and Truth, Follow all His ways,
Christ-mas mocks, cheapens, The Lord’s holy name,
Yoke not with the world, By doing the same.

v. 22. Ancient of days came–The title applied to the Father in Daniel 7:13 is here applied to the Son; who is called “the everlasting Father” . . . Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
